Description: WEI srl was established in 1998 and its staff is 40 years long-experienced in manufacturing water
and oil drilling rigs and their related equipments, in carrying out on-site surveys, inspections and re-certifications,
as well as maintenance on rigs and equipments.
Our staff is composed by a variable number of employed people, 25 up to 60, depending on the market request.
Our factory is located not far away from Milan, close behind the "Via Emilia Parmense", highway exit to
Fiorenzuola d'Arda - Piacenza - and a few minutes far from the railway station.
The Company's location is into a prefabricated structure of over 2.000 square metres, with a large square
intended for assembling and reviewing; our workshop is well equipped with lathes, milling machines,
cutting tools, slicing machines, folding machines, different welders types, many drills and assembling tools.
We have just opened a new workshop in Calendasco, which is 4.800 square metres large, with an outside
space of 4.000 square metres for big rigs assembling; at this moment we are assembling SCARABEO-8 SAIPEM
(manufacture of a new dual derrick 170' x 85' x 40', complete with components).
Our technical department is self-contained and connected to great companies specialized in drilling sector.
WEI srl technical department designs and develops drilling rigs for oil/gas and water research and equipment
on customers' request.
The Rig could be truck mounted or trailer mounted with drill pipe Range 1, 2 or 3 and suitable for API oil & gas
standard zone, depending of client request
